Since March 25, 2020 the Asociación de Pescadores Artesanales Acuicultores Chuyillachi, a SECHURA BAY collective member obtained the ASC (aquaculture stewardship council) certification.

This is the first in the world for scallops bottom yard culture and verify the good aquaculture practices (GAP), the sustainability and the social concern in their daily activities.
